Project Escape in Conshohocken, PA (just north of Philadelphia) recently announced a brand new adventure for its escape room attraction: Escape from Azkaban.

The Harry Potter-inspired escape room challenges Wizards and Muggles alike to find a way out of the Dementor-patrolled prison.

wizard's secret

The premise is players have been duped into trading places with the prisoners.  As these “dark wizards” now roam free, it’s up to those now in their place in the infamous prison to find a way to get free and figure out “the wizard’s secret.” The easiest part is getting out of the prison cell, according to the site’s description of the puzzle.  Using potions, spells and magic to try to figure out the secret before the guards notice their absence.

While this magical excitement is not yet open, Project Escape is already taking reservations for their newest adventure.

The Big Score

“Escape from Azkaban” is the one of two adventures at Project Escape.  “The Big Score The Hiest of the Century,” puts players in the employ of the “Shrouded Hand” to snatch the infamous “Millennium Diamond.”

Both rooms have a one hour timer and it is recommended that players arrive early for their appointment as the clock starts on time with or without them. Participation is limited to those 12 and older (minors must be accompanied by and adult).

Additional information and booking links can be found on Project Escape’s website.  They are located at 1495 Alan Wood Rd in Conshohocken PA.
