Gods & Monsters comic shop reopens in Orlando after sudden Artegon closure

Just weeks after being forced from their space at the Artegon in Orlando, FL (due to the mall’s closing), Gods & Monsters has reopened at a brand new location just up the street from the mall site.

While their new, smaller location is only temporary until they have a chance to move into a much grander, permanent home elsewhere in the city, they will still be celebrating the new digs with the grandest of grand re-opening parties.

On Saturday February 25th, at their new location in the Orlando Crossings (5421 International Drive/Orlando FL), Gods & Monsters will host an all-day grand re-opening extravaganza.  The event kicks off at 11am and is free until the 10pm.  During the day there will be artwork, vendors and face painting on hand along with free coffee from Coffee Shop of Horrors.  After 10 the party kicks into high gear with a special all-ages live performance by Aureli Voltaire (“Billy & Mandy’s Big Boogey Adventure” “When You’re Evil”).  Cover for the concert is $6 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.  The party will be in their new event venue (adjacent to the shop) and runs until 12:30 am.   Further event Details can be unlocked at their Facebook event page.
