Universal Orlando Resort’s upcoming water theme park ‘Volcano Bay’ is set to open early this summer and although we have not received an official opening date yet, the news that the theme park will begin hiring new team members this month is a good sign that we will see an opening date soon.

‘Volcano Bay’ will be looking for both full-time and part-time Team Members in many different areas such as Culinary, Food Services, Security, Lifeguards, Custodial, Parking & Transportation, Ticket Sales & Turnstiles – and more. All in all Universal Orlando is reporting that they will be hiring more than 1,700 new team members.

If you are interested in joining the Universal Orlando team check below for more details.

To be a part of the team at this innovative new water theme park, interested candidates can apply online at www.UniversalOrlandoJobs.com to be considered.

In addition to multiple job fairs Universal Orlando will hold over the coming weeks, a special open call for lifeguards will be held on Sat., Jan. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Universal’s HR office. Universal Orlando will hire more than 400 Lifeguards to support the new water theme park.

Volcano Bay will span 30 fully immersive acres and feature a variety of experiences that range from daring to serene.  Dozens of unique attractions will offer something for everyone, including a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a peaceful winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides, speeding body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below – and more. And Universal is looking for energetic new Team Members to help bring these experiences to life for their guests.

Here is a recent look at the construction of the water theme park as seen from I-4.
