LEGOLAND Florida offering two festive (and yummy) premium holiday experiences

in LEGOLAND

This holiday season, guests at LEGOLAND Florida Resort have two enjoyable Premium Upgrades to choose from that will fill your heart with joy and your tummies with delicious food.

Starting Nov. 26 and on select dates through December, guests can make reservations for two all-new offerings that promise to make the holidays even merrier at the historic Magnolia Mansion located near the entrance to the theme park in Cypress Gardens, FL.

LEGO Santa’s Breakfast featured a hearty selection of food perfect for the brisk morning including waffles, sausage links, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a seasonal bread pudding along with an assortment of beverage options. As vegetarians, my family made a bee line first for the waffles and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest. The accompanying berry sauce wasn’t just loaded with strawberries but also had blackberries and raspberries and was the perfect balance between tartness and sweetness. The scrambled eggs were well cooked and the biscuits tasted as if they had just been baked. The fact that all the guests could just get up and get as much as we wanted made us want us to eat faster just in case it ran out but the friendly and helpful staff kept reloading the trays with fresh food.

Guests can also spend some quality time with LEGO Santa and a LEGO Toy Soldier and the Premium Experience also comes with a family photo taken by a staff photographer and the entire package also comes with a LEGO gift — in our visit we received a cute Christmas ornament with a LEGO reindeer kit inside. Mrs. Claus was also around to greet guests and mingle, and she encouraged children to write their letters to Santa and deliver them to a mailbox located right by the entrance to the Magnolia Mansion. There’s also a play area for the kids to run around and do their thing with LEGO characters hanging out and interacting with them.

The LEGO Santa’s Breakfast Premium Experience is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 26 through Dec. 18 and daily from Dec. 24-31.

Taking place later in the day, LEGO Santa’s Christmas Workshop is another quality offering that’s perfect for kids. LEGO Santa and other characters are there as well and this time Mrs. Claus has baked up a scrumptious selection of cookies to enjoy with milk and other beverages while guests take part in creating an exclusive LEGO Christmas model under the expert guidance of a LEGO Master Model Builder.

Our friendly builder Luke took the time to introduce himself at each table to all the guests. He discussed his background and how he came to work for LEGOLAND Florida as well as what he had worked on at the theme park, which was an eye-opener for my seven-year-old son who wasn’t aware he could turn his hobby/obsession of building LEGOs into an actual career.

We built a cool Santa Claus with our kits as we munched on the cookies and we were given a handy LEGO box to store them in for the trip home. Guests also get a professional family photo with the LEGO characters as well.

LEGO Santa’s Christmas Workshop takes place 1-2:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 26 through Dec. 24, and daily from Dec. 26-31.

Both Premium Experiences are separately priced at $35 per guest, plus tax, which doesn’t include theme park admission or parking. Both experiences can be booked online via the LEGOLAND Florida website or by phone at (855) 753-7777.

Don’t forget too, Christmas Bricktacular will also arrive at LEGOLAND Florida Resort on Dec. 17-18 and 24-30 with holiday fireworks, stage shows, live performances from the “LEGO Brickettes”, special meet and greet opportunities and much more. All the fun is included with your general admission to the parks!
