It seems like theme parks aren’t wasting any time adopting the magic of virtual reality into their attractions.
With the recent announcement of SeaWorld’s VR-revamped Kraken roller coaster, and multiple other attractions across the United States, let’s not forget one of the more interesting and fascinating treks into the virtual world: The Repository at Halloween Horror Nights 2016. Now, Universal Orlando Resort has released a chilling new look into this one-of-a-kind experience.
Check it out here:
The Repository is an exclusive, limited-time attraction with an entirely unique storyline that will pave the way for even more brand new, best-in-class experiences across Universal Orlando Resort. Throughout this extended, heart-pounding adventure, guests will explore highly thematic physical environments and interact with real-life characters all while working in small teams to solve a dark mystery unfolding before them.
Here are some photos straight from the folks at Universal — it looks absolutely insane:
This “highly interactive” horror experience is now available to purchase for $49.99 plus tax, per person, by calling 407-224-7840. Halloween Horror Nights admission is also required and Universal warns that this new VR experience is not recommended for guests 13 and younger.
