New tasty offerings help commemorate Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ‘Final Check-Out’ at Disney California Adventure

in Disneyland Resort, Food, Haunted Attractions

As we near the closing date, or rather the “final check-out”, of January 2, 2017 for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at the Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort, we’re seeing more and more ways being offered for fans to pay their last respects to the popular ride before it closes down for good.

ITM reporter Mike Celestino has been on the scene covering these new offerings, and now we have word from Disney Parks Blog about two limited-time specialty eats being offered to mark the occasion.

First up is the rather interesting looking The Tower Drop Dog over at Award Wieners.

The Tower Drop Dog at Award Wieners almost appears as if it had been struck by lightning. An all-beef frank dipped in red-pepper ketchup, topped with grilled onions, peppers and an onion crunch on a black noir potato bun – one bite will make you think you’ve just crossed over into … The Twilight Zone.

If that’s a little too adventurous for you, or you need something to pair with that hot dog, then head on over to Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge where they offer a special martini called The Drop, featuring Midori with Irish cream and grenadine “dropped in”. Sure it looks quite creepy as well, but isn’t that the whole point?

You’ll want to jump on those quick as they are only available for a limited time at Disney California Adventure park.
