(G)OREO Cookies get dressed up for Halloween as seasonal flavors arrive

It’s no surprise that limited edition fall flavors are a hit in the grocery stores.  From the pumpkin-spice-everything explosion to the candy corn craze, there’s no shortage of seasonal supply.  Known for its varied varieties, Oreo cookies are no exception.  For fall we have three delicious delights to choose from: Candy Corn, Pumpkin Spice and Halloween (regular Oreo cookies with Halloween images and orange colored filling).

This year, just in time for the monster movie mania that accompanies the fall frights of Halloween, artist Billy Polard, at the request of Dread Central, whipped up some very special Oreo variants that horror fans are sure to savor.

From Stranger Things to Trick or Treat and Elm Street to Exorcist, milk’s best friend may have just turned sour.  (Not so sure we can stomach the chianti and fava bean filling for the Hannibal version, but the blood red mouth aftereffect is a nice touch.)
