10 things not to miss at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2016 at Magic Kingdom

The popular Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom has a plethora of fun activities and shows to keep an eye out for. Take a glance at our list of 10 things not to miss during the party to make sure you have a great evening!

1. Sing along to the ‘Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular’ castle stage show.

This is the main event and a definite must see at the party. The Sanderson sister from the cult classic movie “Hocus Pocus” take the stage with a group of Disney Villains. The show is performed multiple times during each party.

2. Marvel at the splendid ‘Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade’.

Disney Villains, pirates and Haunted Mansion characters make up this really unique Halloween parade that you can only see during the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This year’s Vanellope from “Wreck It Ralph” got her own float and Sugar Rush dancers. The parade also has a pre-parade featuring the Headless Horseman.

The Boo To You Parade also features to pre-parades. One being the new Zootopia Party Patrol that is only view-able from Main Street and the Headless Horseman’s trip down the entire parade route.

3. Scream long to ‘Happy Hallowishes’ fireworks show.

‘Everybody screams…Happy, Happy Halloween.’ This is an amazing show filled with pyrotechnics and castle projections but the fireworks perimeter ending is what takes your breath away.

4. Hunt down all the special Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party characters.

Rare character meet and greets can be found in every corner of the park during the party. From Jack Skellington and Sally to Haunted Mansion’s Lady Carlotta you will have a hard time finding any better place to get that rare character picture.

 

5. Take care of your sweet tooth by trick or treating throughout the park.

What is a Halloween party without candy? Disney makes sure that if bringing home a backpack of candy is your goal you can definitely do that by trick or treating all around the park. Special trick or treat bags are handed out when you enter the park.

6. Shop for some exclusive party merchandise.

7. Snack on special Halloween treats.

Candy corn soft-serve, pumpkin cupcakes and special Halloween themed popcorn buckets are just some of the treats you can find during the party. See more HERE

8. Grab your Halloween squad photo with special MagicShots by PhotoPass

Make sure you find the PhotoPass photographers during the party as you can get some pretty rare characters stopping by for your picture. Read more HERE

9. Ride the most classic Halloween ride: the Haunted Mansion.

This is just one of those rides you have to experience to get into the right Halloween mood and with themed lights and spooky fog decorating the outside of the Mansion there really is no better time to stop by. You may also finds some silly spooks from the Haunted Mansion visiting outside.

10. Pick up your free Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom Halloween card.

Even if you don’t play the interactive Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom game in the park, make sure you pick up this little free souvenir card!
