New Walt Disney World meet-and-greet opportunities available for Memory Maker package guests

It looks like Walt Disney World is offering guests some special perks when purchasing the $149 Memory Maker package: extra meet-and-greet opportunities!

Disney Parks Blog reports that, in addition to receiving all your Disney PhotoPass vacation photos with the service, your Memory Maker purchase will also include access to a private Disney Character Experience with a Disney Princess located at Magic Kingdom Park – Heritage House. It seems like a really wonderful experience for guests looking for a little something extra for their character meeting vacation safari.

There is no word on whether this applies also to Annual Passholders (who also have access to all the other perks that come with a Memory Maker package), but we’ll let you know if we hear anything.

Although not mentioned in the original Disney Parks Blog post, this information was later added by Disney in response to reader comments:

If you have a Disney Platinum Plus Pass, Disney Platinum Pass, Disney Gold Pass or Disney Premier Passport with Disney PhotoPass downloads, then you and your party may enjoy this experience. No reservation is needed.

Other than that, only one person in your party is required to have purchased Memory Maker in order for your group to enjoy the new character experience offerings.

This super-neat limited-time opportunity will be available for Memory Maker guests and their parties from 11 a.m. – 5:40 p.m., August 7 to 31. So get on it!
