Welcome back to another edition of Disney Tidbits – your destination for a photo trip around the Disney Parks to see what is new and happening!
Yesterday we checked in on the Magic Kingdom that is right in the middle of summer craziness.
It may be June and it’s supposed to be really crowded in the parks but on this day it was weirdly slow.
New Mickey Mouse cupcakes inside Main Street Bakery/Starbucks.
We decided to catch the last showing for the day of the new castle stage show Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. It’s not as upbeat as the previous Dream Along with Mickey show but the audience sure seemed to like it. Check out our video of the show HERE
Elsa still draws the most screams from little kids.
Haunted Mansion is currently undergoing some facade refurbishment and unfortunately is totally covered up by a giant scrim.
Peter Pan’s Flight was only a 60 min wait around 5pm. Should be a lot worse in the middle of June.
The Frozen sisters have relocated back to Epcot so Princess Aurora and Tiana are now meeting and greeting inside Princess Fairytale Hall together with Rapunzel and Cinderella. Check out our video HERE
The new PinQuest scavenger hunt game was already out for sale at the Frontierland Pin Trading Post. You can read more about it HERE
A surprise release Tangled pin was incredibly popular that day.
Some other new pin releases.
The Carousel of Progress recently received a brand new exterior paint job. Looks quite different! Unfortunately when we passed by the rain was coming down in droves but luckily I found some pics on instagram of the attraction.
As evening approached the park kept getting more empty. Both Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean were walk-ons.
We grabbed a spot to view Celebrate the Magic on the left side of Cinderella’s castle. Fun fact: they show the projections on the side of the castle too and it gives you quite a new experience.
Caught the Main Street Electrical Parade for its second showing that night.
New Disney Princess merch inside the Emporium.
That’s it for this visit to Magic Kingdom. Come back soon for even more trips around the Disney World!
