Busch Gardens Tampa to host Pokemon Go event during Summer Nights

Yes, the Pokemon Go phenomenon has totally taken over Central Florida and its theme parks. SeaWorld has already joined in on the mania and Disney Springs is like base camp for dedicated players.

Now Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is joining the fold by hosting their own Pokemon GO event during their ‘Summer Nights’ festival. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 26 through Sunday, Aug. 7, Pokémon players are encouraged to wear their team colors and try to level up as many Pokémon as they can during special lure-a-thon times.

According to the press release, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will let guests visit team hubs which will be identified by team colors throughout the park. There will also be team base camps located throughout the park that will have team stickers, specialty team-inspired drinks and food deals as well as photo opportunities and merchandise.

More than 50 lure modules activated throughout the park including: Pantopia, Egypt, Jungala, Edge of Africa and Stanleyville.

PARK ADMISSION IS REQUIRED. Parking is not included.

Additionally, Pass Members will get EXCLUSIVE access to seven PokéStops with activated lure modules in the Egypt area of the park this weekend, Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. during the Pass Member Cobra’s Curse exclusive ride time.
