The brand new “Frozen” Royal Sommerhus area located in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot has soft opened today with guests now able to participate in a meet and greet with Anna and Elsa.
WATCH:
Both the interior and exterior design of the Royal Sommerhus is faithful to what a traditional Scandinavian summer house would look like, but it still features direct references to “Frozen” as well as more subtle nods to the hit movie that are scattered throughout for eagle-eyed fans to spot.
Cast members as well as Anna and Elsa explain to guests that the sisters are thrilled to be able to return to their “old” summer getaway and can now share the experience with their friends.
A “Frozen” gift shop is located after the meet and greet opportunity.
Outside of the Royal Sommerhus, guests can interact and socialize with these colorful characters.
Meanwhile, the “Frozen Ever After” attraction remains on track to officially open on June 21, but could soft open very soon. Inside the Magic will be on location as soon as it opens, so keep it here for continuous coverage of the newest area at Epcot in Walt Disney World.
