SeaWorld Orlando’s new hypercoaster, Mako, is a monster.
It has no loops, but it has some serious airtime, speeds up to 72mph, and a massive 200 foot drop. I don’t consider myself the type to be “scared” of a roller coaster, but one trip on Mako made me a believer. It’s a doozy.
I had the chance to team up with our friends at ThrillGeek and Orlando Informer for a POV ride of the coaster — only we gave it a little twist. We challenged ourselves (well, Max) to deliver five facts on the Mako shark while riding the insane new coaster. The result: insanity.
