A brand new horror convention is coming to the Sunshine State.

Bay of Blood: Tampa’s Horror Weekend, is a just-announced fright fest that aims to kick off the Halloween season from September 23-25. Digging into the slasher  & horror films of the 70’s and 80’s, Bay of Blood will feature a 35th anniversary My Bloody Valentine reunion featuring stars Peter Cowper, Paul Kelman and Lori Hallier.

The 1981 slasher film, The Burning, is also getting the reunion treatment with stars Lou David, Brian Matthews and Leah Ayres making appearances at Bay of Blood.

This is the first year for this “family-friendly” event which will be held at the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore. Tickets are already available and range in price for a single day (Friday or Sunday) pass at $30, $35 for just Saturday, $60 for a full weekend pass all the way to the $175 limited VIP PASS (which includes priority seating, a VIP only event Saturday night, limited edition T-shirt and custom lanyard).
