Knowing full well the world demands more Minions, a brand new short starring the lovable little yellow guys has been announced by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures at a CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The brand new short “Mower Minions” will play in movie theaters before “The Secret Life of Pets”, which opens domestically in theaters on July 8, 2016.

“It’s been a year since Minions appeared on movie screens, and will be another year until they show up in Despicable Me 3 next summer. Fans are always asking us for more content with the Minions, so the timing felt right for them to star in an all-new short film right before audiences experience Illumination’s newest original film, The Secret Life of Pets,” said Meledandri. “The theatrical release of this short serves as an opportunity for some of the most talented storytellers, visual development artists, colorists and story artists in the Illumination family to flex their creative muscles and create a new piece of content for the big screen.”

But that’s not all, they also announced that South Park creator Trey Parker has been tapped to voice a villain named Balthazar Bratt for the upcoming “Despicable Me 3” movie and he looks…quite interesting. And yes for anyone under the age of 30 (or 40?), that is indeed a keytar.

“Despicable Me 3” comes out in theaters on June 30, 2017.

As if that wasn’t enough, Benedict Cumberbatch (“Doctor Strange”) will voice the titular character in a “newly imagined version” of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Directed by Pete Candeland and Yarrow Cheney, and adapted from Dr. Seuss’ book by Michael LeSieur, the animated film will be produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri, Janet Healy and Scott Mosier, and executive produced by Audrey Geisel and Chris Renaud. It will be released on November 10, 2017.
