The “Wizard” pop-culture magazine and comic book price guide began in 1991, and the company soon branched out into the convention market, purchasing the Chicago Comicon in 1996 and transforming it into the annual, massive, and eventually multi-city Wizard World.
Now Wizard World is launching its very first comic-con themed cruise, and stars Chris Hemsworth (“Thor,” “The Avengers,” the upcoming “Ghostbusters” reboot) and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon on “The Walking Dead”) will be meeting and greeting with fans aboard the maiden voyage.
The trip will sail from Miami to Nassau and the Bahamas in early December. “We’re thrilled to put together this amazing adventure for our fans to come sail with Chris Hemsworth, Norman Reedus, and all the other stars and artists gathered for this journey,” said Wizard World COO Randy Malinoff.
