It certainly is a small world!

This week, the wizards at Disney Imagineering added a neat little feature using next-gen MyMagic+ StoryMaker technology to the end of Magic Kingdom’s “It’s A Small World” attraction. In the last room right before you disembark, a sensor reads guests’ MagicBands and offers them a personalized “goodbye message” on one of four screens.

As with a lot of the MagicBand technology, the feeling of knowing that something volunteered your information without your say-so (at least verbally) is a little jarring and slightly creepy, but guests should really get a kick out of it.
