UPDATE (4/11/16): The resort will reportedly continue to offer Nickelodeon experiences until June 1, 2016.

After 10 years of operations, the Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando will be undergoing a massive $30 million renovation and will now be known as the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark.

The name change will take place by April of this year and the hotel, located at 14500 Continental Gateway Dr, Orlando, FL 32821, will no longer be offering Nickelodeon experiences by that time, OrlandoUnited.com has learned. The first wave of renovated suites will be offered to guests starting this month and many of the amenities throughout the resort have begun shutting down in anticipation of the relaunch.

From the press release:

The resort will continue to be a destination hotel dedicated to imagination, play and exploration for kids and parents alike! The rebranding creates opportunities to bring new features to life, including a newly renovated waterpark, laser maze, 4-D theater lineup and live entertainment in our studio and poolside! We but will continue to deliver a fun and energetic experience.
