Before the full strength of the Star Wars universe is felt across the globe once again, the NBA’s Orlando Magic team is joining in early by celebrating the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with a Star Wars themed night on December 16th. That’s just two days before the film is set to hit theaters worldwide.

The night kicks off at 7:00pm as the Orlando Magic take on the Charlotte Hornets, with a pregame happy hour from 5:30pm-6:30pm at ‘Ronas and ‘Ritas. Guests attending Star Wars night are encouraged to dress up their favorite characters from the franchise, but no lightsabers or guns will be permitted inside the arena. The action will be taking place both on and off the court, with many details being reserved just for those ticket holders to discover once stepping inside.

Tickets start at $15 each, but to take home the commemorative Orlando Magic Star Wars Night 8 x 10 autographed photo it’ll set you back with tickets starting at $55.00 each. In attendance will also be the 501st Legion, showing their alliance. And if you didn’t know who they are, it’s an international fan-based organization dedicated to the construction and wearing of screen-accurate replicas of the Star Wars universe. Yea, the Magic are taking this game seriously.
