With all the “Star Wars”-related hubbub surrounding the launch of Season of the Force at Disneyland this week, it can be easy to overlook the over significant overhaul that was unveiled in Tomorrowland Monday morning: Super Hero HQ.
WATCH:
Super Hero HQ retains much of the “Stark Industries Expo” update to the former Innoventions building from several years back, but replaces the Captain America meet & greet with the V.A.U.L.T. Spider-Man meet & greet area, and expands the Marvel theming to occupy the entire top tier of the structure, now called the Tomorrowland Expo Center.
Super Hero HQ also includes the Game Center, where kids and adults alike can play-test Disney Infinity using all manner of Marvel Super Hero characters.
While some of Super Hero HQ (such as the Thor: Treasures of Asgard meet & greet area) will be very familiar to guests who visited Innoventions before it was shuttered this past March, Disneyland has added quite a bit to satisfy Marvel Super Hero fans of all ages.
