LEGOLAND® Hotel at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort opened today, marking the expansion of the resort to become an immersive, multi-day experience for families. The grand opening was honored with thousands of colorful LEGO® minifigures blasting out of cannons atop the hotel and a child discovering a key to open the hotel built for kids.

The new LEGOLAND Hotel debuts several features unique to the Florida Resort.

The Hotel offers the only LEGO Friends themed guest rooms in the U.S., and the only Friends themed suite in the world. Based on the popular Friends product line, this room theme is closely modeled after the five Friends personalities: Olivia, Stephanie, Emily, Mia and Andrea.

LEGOLAND Hotel is also offering Hotel guests exclusive access to a Master Model Builder Workshop by being the first LEGOLAND Resort to move its Model Shop inside the Hotel. Hotel guests will be able to build side-by-side with a Master Model Builder during daily build sessions.

“LEGOLAND Florida Resort is continuously expanding, making it an awesome place for families with children to stay for multiple days. The addition of LEGOLAND Hotel makes that possible,” said General Manager of LEGOLAND Florida Resort Adrian Jones. “The hotel is a fully immersive experience, with a number of exclusive features unique to LEGOLAND Florida Resort and we’re excited to welcome families to stay and play with us for the first time in Florida!”
