Two new Walt Disney World hotels to open this summer, luxurious Four Seasons and contemporary B Resort

Walt Disney World this summer will welcome two new hotels, one a high-tech contemporary renovation and the other a world-renowned luxury addition.

In the Downtown Disney area, B Resort will bring an assortment of affordable amenities while the new Four Seasons will cater to the most exclusive clientele.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Located within the gated Golden Oak community filled with multi-million dollar single family homes on Walt Disney World property, the Four Seasons Resort Orlando will stand apart from the rest of the on-property offerings.

Park View rooms will offer a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Other select rooms will give a view of Epcot’s IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

The Disney Planning Center will give Four Seasons guests one-on-one help from a Disney Cast Member to plan their stay, including ticket arrangements, dining reservations and more.

“Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and his Pals” will be offered twice weekly at Ravello restaurant, a buffet-style breakfast on Thursdays and Saturdays as well as on Tuesdays during peak school break periods. It will include traditional breakfast offerings and an omelet station with a photographer present capture Disney character moments.

Complimentary transportation to the four Walt Disney World parks will be included in a stay at Four Seasons via luxury motor coaches departing every 30 minutes to the Magic Kingdom and every hour to the additional parks. A fleet of white vehicles will also be available to rent for a fee.

The grounds of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando will also include a five-acre “Explorer Island” water park, featuring a winding lazy river complete with a rapids section, two water slides, an interactive splash zone with water cannons, and much more. Other available activities include table tennis, bocce ball, beach volleyball, a rock climbing wall, and more. “The Hideout” at Explorer Island will feature video games and an Italian gelateria. “The Mansion” will be home to the Kids For All Seasons program, a complimentary kids camp for children ages 5 to 12.

The resort also includes an 18-treatment room spa and an adults-only pool for ages 21 and up with cabanas and poolside cocktail service. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy an 18-hole golf course, three tennis courts, and a lakeside fitness center.

B Resort

A Downtown Disney area hotel is being transformed into B Resort, where reservations are now available for stays starting June 1, 2014.

With introductory rates starting at $159 per night, including resort fees and self-parking, B Resort is an affordable option for Walt Disney World visitors.

The 394-room hotel features the brand’s first full-service B Indulged Spa, offering the full gamut of spa services, including massages, a hair salon, a nail boutique and the B Active Fitness Center.

B Resort’s guest rooms and suites offer views of downtown Orlando, area lakes and theme parks. Each room has a large HD LED interactive flat-screen television, complimentary high-speed internet and a mini fridge.

B Resort will feature a zero-entry saltwater pool with interactive water features, fire pits and a kids’ zone as well as offering courtesy loaner iPads.

The hotel’s signature restaurant is American Q from restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow featuring a unique twist on barbecue.
