Haunted Mansion tribute scares up new ghouls in MuckleBones Museum at Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend 2013

The Deadites have once again descended upon Orlando as Spooky Empire launches this year’s Ultimate Horror Weekend, this time with a Disney twist. Following the attention grabbing appearance by Ursula voice Pat Carroll at their May-Hem event a few months ago, Spooky Empire has now partnered with the MuckleBones Monster Museum to offer a tribute to The Haunted Mansion.

Throughout this weekend, October 25 – 27, 2013, a unique walk through experience inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion features favorite characters from the classic dark ride but twisted and more ghoulish than ever. The Attic Bride, Hat Box Ghost, Madame Leota, and Caretaker are among the happy haunts that are on display as part of the convention, free to browse for all Spooky Empire guests.

It’s a display that no Disney fan should miss, taking the time to get up close with fiendish new variations of these famous grim grinning ghosts, all of which make excellent photo opportunities.

Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend 2013 is taking place at the Doubletree across from Universal Orlando and is featuring special celebrity guests including horror director George Romero, shock rocker Dee Snider, “Halloween” series star Danielle Harris, a “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (1974) cast reunion, Patricia Quinn of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, Ve Neill and Glenn Hetrick of Syfy’s “Face Off, and many more. And it all kicks off today with the now-traditional zombie walk.
