‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One at E3 2013 from Square Enix with Disney, Final Fantasy

During the Sony press conference at E3 2013, “Kingdom Hearts 3” was first announced for the PlayStation 4 console system. It will be the 10th installment in the series. A brief trailer featuring the history of the “Kingdom Hearts” video games was shown, ending with footage from the next generation incarnation of the game featuring Sora once again wielding his key blade.

It was later revealed that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will also be available for the Xbox One system.

“Kingdom Hearts” first debuted in 2002 for PlayStation 2, followed by “Kingdom Hearts 2” and a series of spin-off games, each featuring characters from “Final Fantasy” games and Disney films. “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be a follow up to the 2006 sequel.

The new game will feature an older Sora on new adventures with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and other Disney characters.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” is available to pre-order now on Amazon for release by the end of 2014.

PlayStation 4 is available to pre-order now for release by the end of 2013.

Xbox One is also available to pre-order now for release by the end of 2013.
