Not to be outdone by the longstanding and popular location at Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland Resort today grand opened a new Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop within the Disney California Adventure theme park.
While it’s first the first Ghirardelli shop to open inside a theme park, the world-famous tasty treats served there are no different. The new eatery serves up hot fudge sundaes, milkshakes, and floats, and is chock full of chocolate products, located in the San Francisco-inspired Pacific Wharf area of the park.
As with every Ghirardelli location, each guest entering is offered a complimentary sample of their signature chocolate.

“As we celebrate the culmination of our resort expansion, we are thrilled to welcome Ghirardelli, and to make this unique chocolate experience available to our park guests,” said George A. Kalogridis, president of Disneyland Resort. “Ghirardelli is a perfect fit for our newly reimagined Disney California Adventure, as we both share a rich California heritage.”
