LEGOLAND Florida Water Park receives its most important element as construction continues toward grand opening

With less than two months until the new LEGOLAND Water Park opens on May 26, 2012 at LEGOLAND Florida, the most important component of the new attraction is finally being added: more than a half a million gallons of water.

The park’s LEGO Wave Pool, the first wave pool in any LEGOLAND Water Park, began receiving its water courtesy of the LEGO City Volunteer Fire Department. When complete, its waves will be big enough for fun, but small enough for whole families to enjoy.

Elsewhere in the park, construction continues on its water slides and other attractions including the Build-A-Raft River, Twin Chasers tubes, Splash Out drop slides, Joker Soaker play area, and DUPLO Splash Safari for toddlers.

Admission to the water park attraction will be included with the new LEGOLAND Premium Pass, providing a year of admission to LEGOLAND Florida and seasonal access to the LEGOLAND Water Park for $179 for adults and $149 for child/senior. Single-day LEGOLAND Florida guests may upgrade to a water park attraction ticket for an additional $12 per person (children under 3 are $3).
