Today we continue our series of virtual tours of Disneyland Hotel’s new “signature” suites, each themed to a different character, theme park land, or attraction. They exist side-by-side on the 11th floor of the Adventure Tower (formerly the Dreams Tower) and are available for booking at a price of thousands of dollars per night, but we recently had a chance to peek inside to take you around.
We started our Suite Series with the Adventureland Suite. Now our second stop takes us to Frontierland…
Big Thunder Suite
Considered to be “the wildest suite in the wilderness,” the 1,400-square-foot suite is inspired by the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction at Disneyland park.

Guests visiting the suite will enjoy its doorbell featuring the sound of howling wolves. Just inside the entrance is a “mine shaft” foyer with interactive features and sound effects.
The rustic feel of the Big Thunder Suite is created using repurposed wood from a Midwestern barn as flooring and paneling. An open living area features a dining room, stone-hearth fireplace, and flat-panel television hidden behind concept art.
The suite features two bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a desk, sitting area, TV and king-sized bed.
Connected is the master bath, accessible via barn door and featuring an inviting copper tub and steam shower.
Prices and availability for the Big Thunder Suite and all of the Disneyland Hotel suites can be obtained by calling (714) 956-6425.
Next on our Suite Series, we’ll take you on a tour of the Pirates of the Caribbean suite, inspired by Disney’s classic ride and film series.
