‘Never Trust A Puppet’ gameshow on GSN to feature puppets by The Jim Henson Company

A new TV gameshow called “Never Trust A Puppet” is in development for GSN (formerly the Game Show Network). Each episode of the late-night show will feature five “celebrity” puppets who lie to contestants and it’s the contestant’s job to determine which puppet is lying. The show’s name may not be finalized yet, as it is also referred to online as “Late Night Liars.”

The show will be hosted by actor/comedian Larry Miller, but it is unknown which celebrities will join in the fun as puppets. The puppets themselves will be created by the Jim Henson Production Company, though they will not be Muppets (Disney will not be involved).

A recent Los Angeles Craigslist casting call suggests that contestants could win up to $15,000 on the show:
