I'm glad you brought up the topic of theater bouncing for Captain Eo's tribute show. That's the one thing that annoys me about the Disneyland version. A little is fine, but it becomes too much, and in some spots, the bounce doesn't even match the beat (as a musician, I notice things like this)! I hope the DL programmers tone it down a bit, as, apparently, they have at Epcot.

You're very right. It is off-beat in many places.

Question: Isn't Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion? I think you might have misspoken and said it was in France... We wouldn't want people to be running around Epcot with mistaken information!

Taking the slow approach to the show this week... Smile

On the question regarding getting an Annual Pass, if you get it anywhere other than a ticket booth or Guest Relations location at WDW (there might be a few exceptions), you are getting an exchange voucher (even if you choose the will call option). The clock does not start ticking on the AP until you redeem the voucher (or pick it up at will call) and receive your activated Annual Pass.

So there is no problem getting it early, and perhaps ahead of any ticket price increases.

First time on the new forums, so I hope I picked the right spot to post.

In the listener feedback section, a listener asked about taking the red eye to Disney World.

We have done this two different ways and I'll give you the pro's and con's on both experiences. First, we're flying from Sacramento, so a red eye usually gets us into Orlando between 7 - 10 AM.

First, we would take the red eye, check in at the hotel, then go to the park all day in hopes of getting use to the time change. The downfall to this idea is you are exhausted, and the adrenaline of your first day can only last so long. Some trips, this exhaustion continues to the rest of the trip, which makes for a bad trip.

Second, this year we tried something a little bit different. Thanks to some furlough days, I was "forced" to take two fridays off. So a full week off of work was actually Thursday through the following Friday. So we took the red eye out on Weds night, and arrived Thursday morning. This turned the trip into an 11 day trip. The price for an 11 day pass from a 10 day pass was too high, and we didn't think an annual pass would be worth it.

So, for our first day, we checked into our hotel, went and got some lunch, then rested around the hotel all day. It was AWESOME! We took naps, went and saw things at the hotels that we normally would have skipped. Then we prepared for our full day at the Magic Kingdom the next day. This trip idea was AWESEOME and we hope to do it again in the future.
